AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH STOP BRINGING UP THAT UTTER FRAUD OF A MANAGER EVERY TIME WE GET ANOTHER MANAGER WHO ISN'T VERY GOOD!!!

There are more managers in football than the current Everton incumbent and a past (failed) Everton manager. The period that eventually saw him sacked was FAR worse than even this. If that run had started a little earlier in the season, make no mistake, we would absolutely have gone down that year.

As a club, we truly fell off a cliff.

There's still a lot of people here who put all their credibility on getting rid of Martinez "to make things better"...people who backed the Koeman appointment (the biggest disaster in Everton managerial history) and so cant accept that a manager who gave us in just three seasons our best PL season and a couple of cup SFs and the most attack minded football since the 80s was way way better than they gave credit to.

They're embarrassed and try to hide it by lashing out at Martinez...a man smiling all the way to the WC finals while we're now in the gutter as a result of getting shut of him.

DaveK's alternative Premier League table where a 5th placed finish is considered better than a 4th placed finish.

Resurrected a defunct Swansea and laid the foundations of a PL club organisation
Won the FA Cup against the most expensively assembled team in Europe bar Madrid...with an ale house team
Gave us a season points total we have never gotten near before and wont again for another generation
Took Belgium to the WC and handed them their best ever qualifying campaign

...and there's actually people on here doubting he's a far superior manager than Moyes, Koeman and Allardyce.

Ha ha ha ha.
