It's almost certain he's telling every player to go backwards, even when the ball is played quickly to the wide areas from Pickford. First touch kills the ball, second touch plays it backwards. Pitiful football.

Its so defensive. It's genuinely like he tells them don't get forward too fast, you have too remember to stay back and defend.
