Back 3 worked well today but Brighton are a different team to Burnley. It's a real conundrum for Silva and I am not going to even try to second guess how he might change things.

Are we going to stick with the three at the back? Think it suits us and could definitely work at Brighton. But if Gana is fit I think I would still bring him back in and figure out who has to be dropped.

They were OK today against Arsenal but Arsenal were as poor as they were in second half vs. Southampton. And still could’ve been 3 up at half time.

I'm taking my daughters to this game. The plan is to get a train to Brighton and have a few drinks before catching a train to Falmers. The trains to Falmers leave every ten minutes. Does anybody know how busy these trains get? I don't want to leave Brighton too late and end up missing the start of the game.

All this nonsense that these are a good team... They're rubbish. Although I reckon Hughton is decent. How many of there's get into our team? Exactly.
Grocks at the back, maybe start DCL up front again. Of gueye isn't fit enough to start go 3 at the back again. Hit them with pace and width.
2-0 Everton

They’ll be full. We had to wait for the next one last time.

Usually I agree with the 'don't change a winning side' idea but we play these on Saturday, then 12:30 on Tuesday (home, Leicester), then Saturday again in the League Cup (home, Lincoln). I'd rather we didn't break our good players so an amount of squad rotation should be expected.

20-1 on Mina to be the first to remove Glen Murray’s toupee, if you’re interested.

They are surprisingly weak at defending set pieces. No reason why we can’t win even though they are reasonable at home and we generally don’t win away. Perhaps that’s two reason then. Let’s not overthink this. If you offer me a win now I’d take it.
