Sensible team selection

Gylfi Sigurdsson the only player left out who played the full 90 minutes against Burnley and he needs a rest the way he plays.

No changes to the back 6.

Gomes played 75 minutes against Burnley, Bernard 80 minutes & Richarlison 23 minutes.

Hopefully we start well and can afford to rest some of the more mobile players late on as the game against Leicester comes quickly.

Can't argue with that either but if rotation is necessary Bernard through the middle would be my pick.

Fair play; I should have expanded on my point to say that, if Bernard plays, and was to play central, we’d need someone to fill in as effectively for him on the left. The obvious pick is Richarlison which would mean DCL up top again. I don’t dislike DCL but he was the weak link the other day. Long story short: Keep Bernard out wide!
