I've never been so despondent with Everton as I am at the moment.

Last 3 games, I swerved going to the game to watch Spurs, and even turned it off on TV with 30 minutes to go. I watched Burnley but today, again I gave up around the hour mark. For whatever reason, maybe it's the time of year but I just can't be arsed with Everton.

We've been much worse, much, much worse - perhaps its a cumulative thing.

That's what I was like last season, I turned the game off so many times. This season, I suppose we're always in the game so I keep it on, but need to find something better to do with my life if this is it. Was fairly looking forward to this game too. I don't see why we had such a long way to travel for a game two days after another away over christmas. I feel sorry for our fans but would it take much for the FA to make it equal for all teams over Christmas? As I mentioned before, the two who moan the most in Klopp and guardiola have ended up with the best deal so its obvious they amend it. Not why we lost obviously, but just another indicator of how fixed football is these days for money.

What a pathetic effort that was. Can't really fault the goalkeeper or defence apart from Coleman once again stinking the place out, but almost everybody else was damn awful.

We battered them in terms of chances, but typically ours hit the post, the bar, were saved or simply stupidly messed up by our own players, whereas theirs went in after a deflection from Gomes. So typically Everton it is unreal. Again.

Seamus was absolutely kin hideous out there today, and Walcott - my God - has to have been one of the worst games of his career.

Richarlison did nowt at all, Bernard imo was good but his finishing is terrible, Gueye was tidy but offers nothing going forward, Gomes was very poor and low energy and the subs brought nothing at all to the game. Stupid waiting so long to change it to against a truly awful side in Brighton.

Now for the Chite to win again and tighten their grip on the league.

Can you explain how Seamus was awful; I just think hes the whipping boy now. Walcott I agree with; an awful signing; Richarlison woeful for last few matches; Niasse worst ever to play for us.

Dear God we're such an utterly cowardly club these days. We showed less real fight then Burnley showed againt us at 3-0 down. Another shocking result to go along with the other nine or ten we've had so far this season. The club's an utter shambles. Laughing morons at the top running this club who don't care, a clueless moron running the team as manager and pathetic disinterested donkeys playing for us on the pitch. Is it any wonder we're so shocking?!

Probably fair enough to say at the half way point of the season.

Some poor individual performances today didn’t help. Mina was a shambles at the back Walcott invisible and Richarlison just rolling about the pitch. Gomes has had the wind taken out of his sails as well.

We’d probably be better with Bernard on the right, Richy on the left and DCL up top.

The derby has truly killed us, it’s tragic.

Houghton’s team had great aggression and positional basics in midfield today. Many Everton players were below par today, but there was also a seeming lack of a proper attacking game plan. Weird lack of action from Silva up until the goal.

Up til 4am, I was having a great weekend...good week at work (albeit stressful with the financial markets acting particularly schizophrenic), great night out with the lads and lasses...and then...Everton.

I like Silva, and im ok with this season being a transition. However, wrong lineup cost us, when gana plays we need two at the back to allow us to control the midfield, without him 3 defenders are needed. Our right hand side is utterly useless, lost count of the amount of times we had possession out wide right and ran into thier leftback.
