Leeds better 1st half. Everton woke up and could/nearly won


Today. Brighton could have had a few 1st half.

2nd half we woke up. should have gone ahead, then conceded, then off course scored late

I didn’t like the way he pulled out when challenging for the ball at 1-0 down while chasing the game deep in their half.

Yeah, can forgive mistakes or over enthusiasm from a young player but his attitude concerns me I have to admit.

Give him some credit. He hasn't played much but he's scored a couple of these 'garbage goals' recently and tbf he's shown some improvement in his game.

So he's put himself in the box, right-place-right-time, he's managed to keep himself onside (which he has historically been very poor at), and he's put it on frame but not right at the keeper.

More than KDH could manage earlier. More than Dom could do for Leeds the other night, else we would have lost.

So yeah, it's not the prettiest goal, but he did all the things he needed to do.

A(nother) draw from the jaws of defeat is not an awful result, but let’s not forget these had 1 win in 10 before this.

They were absolutely there for the taking, we rode out a first half that went badly, once again because of poor selection and tactics, and refused to change even when we were in the ascendency and more attacking players might have helped. That the goal actually came in the scant few minutes that remained after we finally did rectify the problems in part is no coincidence.

Another point, but more importantly another game closer to Davey getting his “thanks for all your hard work, but see ya later,” message.

Moyes will have to choose 3 from the 5 cb he has. I Know he would like to play 11 cb but…
