Fact is Everton FC should be beating Brentford. I hope in the years ahead we push away from them.

Why exactly is it a 'fact'? Because 40 years ago we once gave Bayern Munich a run for their money?

We're 32 games into the season, the table doesn't lie. Brentford are a good side, well coached, good recruitment, played a nice style, and were better than us on the day. We have no devine right to beat anyone. That's the only 'fact', no matter how much people want to cling on to decades ago.

That Thiago has got 5 goals against us this season.

Reminds me of the 90s when Alan Shearer, Ian Wright and Les Ferdinand used to regularly destroy us.

Have to be happy with a last minute equaliser, shows character. Brentford annoy me, would like to see us batter them regularly.

Thought McNeil did some good things. Looked good on the ball. We know about his lack of pace but thought he was one of the better players.
Just wish we’d stop crosses coming into the box.
Ref got some stick but thought he was ok apart from the Jimmy booking
