Hopefully it just means that if we decide to sell, Newcastle have first option. Not that they can buy if they want to, that'd be gutting, I like Brendan, he's a classy player and a naturally left-sided CB.
If its loan to buy then its a disgrace
it won't be loan to buy, come on. He clearly has a future here.
then again, it's newcastle so they may offer something ridiculous like £30m for him after the loan.
I agree lots of similarity with Coleman going to BlackpoolI'm fine with him going out on loan, so long as he's not just straight back in the reserves when he gets back if he does well
Championship is a tough league. If he does well there then there's every chance he can do it in the Premier League as well
Highly doubtfulIt'd upset me hugely if it was a Loan to Buy
Highly doubtful
Galloway is decent though, done more to prove himself than Holgate at this point - why would we want to sell him (unless it was a ridiculous offer)wouldn't surprise me if Newcastle get promoted and try an sign him permanently next year. Galloway might enjoy his time there and see the appeal of first team football in the premier league as a better option than still being a squad player for us.
I hope he gets games at Newcastle, comes back a better player and forces his way into the starting 11 next year but I think if Koeman brings a few players in, Holgate progresses, then it's going to be difficult.
