Sainsbury’s has said it has a “technical issue” which is affecting a "vast majority" of online customers and at the same time angry shoppers have been unable to pay with bank cards at tills

Meltdown in Sainsbury's this morning ; a technical glitch meant that some contactless payment and debit cards not accepted - but you'd only find out once all your shopping had been scanned and you tried to pay.
Luckily, being an old fart I always pay with cash - cashless society my arse.
