Sat in my garden with a pint of Abbot ale. I’m watching my youngest lads tortoise strolling about. He’s made friends with a collared dove, (the tortoise, not my lad). He begged for this tortoise but rarely bothers with it. I am left feeding it and bringing it out in in the garden now and then. He’s on his Xbox despite loads of warnings we’ll give it away if he doesn’t look after it. I told him this morning, if there’s such a thing as reincarnation he will come back as the tortoise and Yoshi will be him. It seemed to register briefly but not for long. Hey ho, I’ll let him have a another half hour before back to his tortoise table house.
