I had the pleasure yesterday morning of having a full English with Psycho Pat and about 40 others at the vines in town before the game. What a guy, unlike most ex-players who know there worth to the fans and club he was the most humble man i ever met. And once the brekki was over and everyone left. I got to sit round a table for about 40mins just with Pat and two of my friends and chat with him. I'll never forget the morning with Psycho.

1st of all the full English was superb and i was stuffed to the nuts. And when Pat started to talk you could see how nervous he was. He's never done this sort of thing before and said he struggles to talk in front of crowds. The 1st thing he said and i was so blown away by it was..

"i cant believe the reaction i get from Evertonians since iv been back"

"I didn't think you would remember who i was"

So a few people laughed till we realised he was being truthful. He was great company and spoke about his days at everton and how nothing was the same when he left. He went to S.Africa 15 years ago and has never left since, not even for a holiday. He was really happy to be back but very overwhelmed with all the attention. But the best was yet to come when i got a 40 mins special audience with him. He spoke about Mandy Smith and all the other shenanigans that went on at Everton. They sounded like a right bunch. Thin Sharpie is his best mate from the time but he is very close to them all (Maybe not Ratcliff like)

When he was leaving to go to Goodison i said..

"Thanks for all the memories Pat, you'll always be a hero of mine"

And he just looked me right in the eyes and said..

"No thank you, Evertonians are the most special people on earth and i be nothing without you all".

What a fukking guy, i'll never forget that morning. Brilliant stuff......

Oh i have a good pic i'll send to dan to put on the Site for me!!!
