I can't believe this for one minute as it makes no sense on any level. He doesn't fit into any of the supposed way this club is operating buying young with potential and selling on for profit. This fella needs to bring his own wheelchair if he does sign. No no no no no no no no bang!!!! That was my head exploding at the thought.
 
I can't see why we would bring him in. Cover for Seamus ? Cant see why
Him with Holgate covering for his lack of pace yes but imagine we have to play Kean/Mina with Ivanovic in games.
Also i can't imagine he comes on cheap wages.
Please Carlo see sense
 
Only case i can make is we signed richard gough at 37. No way he will play the same amount of games as gough or be as good. But not got a major problem him coming for a season being around the squad. Vastly experienced player in top games. He brings that.
For a season. If it happens no issues with it.

However, when I checked, I found nothing to indicate he'd done any of his badges, so maybe we'll be giving him a 12 month playing contract and he'll be starting his badges at the same time ?

If it means there’s more fee money to strengthen in key areas then I’m in the same camp as you.

Also as cover and to help bring on some of the younger players, then it’s not so bad.
