Bradley Lowery

Honestly, regardless of what happens with Bradley, I think Everton and Sunderland would do well to do a yearly friendly to 'support Bradley' cause. The little tyke has touched so many people, he makes me think my life has been a waste..
Said the same thing earlier in the thread. We should call it the 'Bradley Lowery cup' one year the pres-season friendly is played at goodison and vice versa at the SOL. Naturally all proceeds raised going to cancer research. I think it would prove a popular game, the week before season starts, both teams would welcome a competitive match against good opposition and it would give the supporters of Everton and Sunderland the chance to maintain the great relationship built up between the clubs in supporting Bradley.

And when they get promoted, play for the BLC in the regular season. Count me in.

Like many, whenever I see this post near the top of the forum I fear opening it. Very sadly losing Bradley sooner than I can comprehend (and possibly sooner than next season) now looks inevitable. He and his family are ordinary people in an extraordinary situation. My incredible respect goes to them all and while I hope none of us ever has to experience the cruelty of this situation I think if it happens to me or my children I can draw strength from their apparent resilience. When the inevitable happens I hope we as Everton fans will send an appropriate delegation as respect to Brad and his family. I hope we're not alone in that. I suspect we won't be. But truly this little boy is a beacon of hope.

Beautifully put mate!

Happy birthday Bradley. Hope he and his family get the present they all crave...some good news regarding his treatment. If ever a little lad deserves to be spoilt rotten on his birthday, it's Bradley!
