Boycotting

In fairness, I always avoid the Derby matches now.

Foregone conclusion.

It's like watching a film that you've seen a dozen times before. My nephew is 12 in October and in his entire lifetime Everton have won 1 league match against the RS. One.

They have won nowt in years.

It is almost thirty years since they won the Title.

It is getting on fifteen years since the Istanbul fluke.

And yet never have I felt a gulf as great as this between the two clubs.

Not even during their golden decade when they were all conquering, between 1976 and 1985.

Actually, if some sort of “boycott” was to be organised for the Saints or Barcodes game I would support it.

Looks to me like thousands of Arsenal fans are boycotting the Emirates these days.

Some are, but many more seats are going unsold by the speculative touts who own the passes and sell them to tourists every other week.

No idea what we’re supposed to be boycotting for, which is probably why it hasn’t happened

You were never there in the 70s or even part of the 80s with some gates under 20k....

And the 90s. Kendall's final game in his second stint was attended by 13,000 people.

On the plus side I could rock up with my junior blue card at 5 to 3 and sit anywhere I wanted.

Ah the good old days.
