Him vs Leo 3 at the weight below would have been brilliant before tonight. Obviously the 3 weight thing was his goal but that fight would have been fantastic.

Whole thing was a bit weird. Really struggling to understand how the promoter has made any money on that show. In a tent, on channel 5 in the UK at about 3 days notice. All a bit odd.

Think he's already made up his mind to call it a day. Definitely the right decision for him at this stage. Why put yourself through any more when you will never reach the same level again.

Good to see both fighters having maximum respect for each other after the fight and saying the right things.
I'm glad Frampton is calling it a day, he's had a good run for his money and been a worthy champ, he was magnanimous in defeat

Too many combat sport refs get caught up in “wanting to give the fighters a chance”. Until they start seeing some serious sanctions for letting fights go on too long, they’ll keep doing it.

It was at Caesar's Palace Bluewater in Dubai. The resort likely paid the promoter a good wedge to bring it over and then sold packages themselves the way a Vegas casino might have a famous singer doing a short residency.

It did look like a country fair church tent though. Felt like everyone involved was doing it for the first time.
