Boxing

Never seen a fighter take a string of uppercuts like that before. As a fighter if you take 1 good uppercut you move away as fast as. That lad just stood there taking them and they caused the damage. He was durable but never had anything to trouble Joshua. Great right hand to finish though
I don't understand how Pulev took that many uppercuts. 3/4 in a row a few times

I never saw the fight but was about to ask the question, after that performance by Joshua should Fury be worried?

Fury knows that this fight wasn't gonna show anything off. AJ carefully leathered the feller with a strong chin.

AJ and Fury are the best Heavyweights out there. Don't think anyone can argue that.

Yes it was strange. They were causing him damage but he just stayed there taking them. Lik I said you take a good uppercut you either back away or you get into a hold and recover. He just stood there wide open and took them one after another. Fine if there not hurting you but they were hurting him and causing his legs to turn to jelly.
Me I think Fury will have to much ringcraft for AJ but he showed with that last punch that he can hurt anyone

It'll be a lot closer than that. Both can box, both can go the distance, both can mix up styles...one has better knock out power, one rarely gets knocked down.

Too close to call

People overestimate the value of beating Wilder. The guy is a donkey of a boxer.

Fury's best win was Klitschko. But while he certainly has the ability to box his way to a 12 round win over Joshua, it's not as set as stone as many believe as Joshua hits hard and Fury is vulnerable.

Unlike Wilder, Joshua can box, fight on the inside and can throw straight power shots.

A proper 50/50 fight I think.

Absolutely.

The Wilder fights against Fury showed what a lot of people said: he'd fought no one, didn't want to leave the comfort of his own living room, and proved he's nowhere near the level of an AJ or a Fury for boxing accumen. He's a power puncher that got outboxed then sent packing in the 2nd match. He's at the level of a Whyte or Chisora level for me. He just gets hyped up cos he's the only decent US heavyweight around.

As for Fury and AJ they're are clearly the best in the division. Hands down. Both fighters have used different styles and game plans over the years to show they're not just one trick ponies. So the shouts of "Fury will batter AJ or vice versa" are way off the mark.

I don’t believe it is mate, that’s the great thing about boxing. I believe Tyson would run rings around him if he wants to make it a boxing match, if AJ wants to stand and trade then he has a punchers chance, but I think Tyson is far too clever to allow that to happen. Can’t wait to see the fight tjough.
