Jack is known for starting fights slow. If he starts slow against Stevenson he will be in trouble early on. If he gets past the middle rounds he will take Stevenson out in later rounds.

Imo sticking with McDonald for his whole career has set him back too. He’s got all the attributes to be the best super middleweight now. He needs to refresh his ideas and go work under someone else. He would be perfect under Adam Booth.

Very tough man. He took Some massive shots off Bute and carried on coming forward. I think he will be a right player in the light heavies. Some massive fights for him in that division.

I agree, Jim Mcdonnell doesn't have the mindset for a technician like degale, felt chunky was a bit too loyal to him, he would have comfortably beaten groves with a better game plan.

I think with all the surgeries he is done now to be honest, a shame because he was a very nicely balanced boxer, didn't get quite to the levels he could have, but still deserves more respect than he gets from certain casual fans

I think McDonnell lets him get away with far to much stuff in training. He doesn’t disclipine him enough when he should. They are more like father and son. Totally agree. On his day he’s an absolute joy to watch.

I don’t think he has the desire anymore either. A couple of fights back he was talking about how he needs to make £30mil so he can live a certain life. That’s why he was chasing the fights in America to get more money. He should of been a PPV star over here but chose to go with Al Haymon and fight on free telly.

heard tales about him warren and malone all treating fighters pretty shabby, it only makes news when they have a court case with a big headlining fighter, but these guys have been screwing the run of the mill fighters for years, who are the bread and butter of the sport. It's why I stick up for the hearns, I know the matchmaking etc annoys people, but they pay and look after people far far better than some of the other vultures with their hands in fighters pockets
