Boxing

Yep. Not reckless pressure but impose his size difference. I think Wilder can be caught clean easily - most on his record are journeyman and/or squat little fat guys ready to be bowled over. If I were Joshua, I'd keep a high guard but walk him down, put him on the back foot and look for the overhand right from the first bell.
Wilder has 7 wins against top 15/20 heavyweights (they were at the time of the fight) it's a decent a resume as any other fighter out there with only povetkin and Joshua having a more impressive resume(Joshua's purely because of the Klitschko win)
If Joshua is still 18 stone plus for wilder, he will find it hard, the speed difference will be in wilders favour and defintatly stamina if the fight goes late.
Wilder carries his power late into fights, he floored duhupauas in round 11.

It's all getting a bit tribal about a fight that hasn't been made, for me AJ is favourite, superior amateur, fought better pros and won straps a lot quicker than wilder, also more skilled than wilder. But Wilder can bang and has more than a decent chance, plus like AJ v Kilt, we are getting two athletes and not a gut in sight, all too rare in the heavyweight division, it really is a mouthwatering clash, like I side I would lean towards AJ, plus despite the 'I'm from the streets' stuff from wilder, I actually think AJ is the tougher and deep down meaner guy, belting fight either way, two big hitters, and plenty of weak points in both
It really does seem that nobody on this forum actaully watches heavyweight boxing. It's not that rare for heavyweights to have a six pack and look like an athlete. You have Carlos Takam, David Haye, Gerard Washington, Bryant Jennings, Izu Ugonoh, Joeseph Parker, Alexander Povetkin, Oscar Rivas, Joe Joyce, Kubrat Pulev .....etc etc I could go on.

All I mentioned and many more either look athletes, or are just plain shredded.
Seeing fighters in shape in the heavyweight division isnt rare

Not read through all this thread, so there probabily are others who know the division well I admit.

Anyway, anyone watching Jarrell Miller Vs Maruisch Wach on matchroom US card tonight, be a good fight that.
Good clash of styles

I'm sick as a dog at the moment so I'm going to watch both Smith v Williams and Miller vs Wach.

I didn't know much about big baby but I watched his Washington fight last night and I like him a lot. Seen he called out Joshua though lol

I’ll be watching. I like Miller a lot, been keeping an eye out on him for a couple of years too. It’s a good test for him against Wach tonight.

I was at the fight in Hamburg when Wladimer Klitschko fought him. It weren’t the best fight and Wach didn’t really do much but he brought a couple of hundred fans with him. Around 50 of his fans stayed in our hotel and were saying how he was gonna dethrone Wladimer.

Wach was a punching bag really, guy has a decent jab though and an iron chin, he took some bombs straight to the chin in the Klitschko fight and was still standing.
He didnt offer anything offensive of note in the fight though, however Miller is no Klitschko and Wach might have more of chance to fight back.

I think Miller will likely win on points, but I'd be very impressed if Miller manages to stop Wach.

Maybe Miller will be made next IBF manditory if he wins as Wach is in the IBF top 15

I was really far back from the ring but I do remember him landing a crisp right hand to Wladimer and he looked in trouble for about 3 seconds. Wladimer stepped back, composed himself and went on the attack. It was an experience and only paid around 25 Euro for the ticket.

Miller should win but think it will be a points win.

4 different cards on tonight

Channel 5 josh Taylor
BT & boxnation smith v Williams
Sky early hours jacobs matchroom USA
BT early hours beterbiev

Does my head in there either too many cards on a weekend or hardly any .

Really looking forward to Smith Vs Williams tonight. Was an absolute cracker last time which Williams was winning at time of stoppage in a very close fight.

Head leans to smith tonight but heart leans to Williams. Smith is a massive kopite. Just because he is a scouser doesn't cut the mustard for me. Go ed Williams la
