Boxing

I've said it consistently in here mate but if u you look prior to his "retirement" (and subsequent record padding) Haye got in with some useful sorts. Mcormack being one, Klitschko at that time was far better than the version that Fury brilliantly out boxed, Valuev at that point was thought to be invincible. Even Macarenelli at the time they fought was heavily hyped. Chisora, when fit and motivated , is a decent watermark for "just below world class" (fight against white and Klitschko solid evidence). Haye beat all bar one of those.

Bellew is in danger, for me, of getting blasted. I've got no love for Haye at all but at just over evens for Haye KO rounds 1-3 I think that's a reasonable bet. Haye also likes to irritate the big promoters (See his comments about Macarenelli after he beat him, saying it was good of Warren to "sacrifice" him) and I think he love to annihilate a member of the Hearn stable

Agree mate, I think Bellew will come out all guns blazing and will get tagged by Haye, it will be lights out early doors.

Haye, even though a tit has got a dig and a half on him, he'll just be looking to land that one big punch, if he does, then IMO it's goodnight Vienna. Saying that though, the same could be said about Bellew, can't remember though if Haye has got a decent jaw to take a big punch.
only been out well they threw the towel in against Thompson, momack had him down twice think they had one as a slip though but Haye admitted it wasn't , and one other cant recall his name( Italian sounding) had him going but Haye came back from nowhere and won it,

Surprised at how many times Bellew has been down @edge in his career against (at times) mediocre opposition

Both of the can give and take a dig, but haye is the bigger and quicker puncher , feet fast as well, only giving Bellew a shout at all due to Haye not being active and we still dont know what that shoulder injury has taken out of him,.
Think haye thinks he will walk through him, if he dosnt early , can see him getting rattled and not wanting to be in there.
Haye big favorite but just hoping Bellew somehow pulls it off.
Monet barrett had haye down as well , but hit him while down twice so it was called a foul.
Haye batterd him afterwards

The Bellew vs Haye fight is an interesting one. Realistically, Hayes careeer has been a disappointment for me. I've watched him for many of years and his two best wins have came at cruiserweight for me. The Mormack win was the best of his career in my opinion. Mormack was a strong favourite for that fight. The one thing that is interesting me in this one, is Haye saying he's coming in light. Haye always used to say he struggled making weight, I think he struggled with motivation. Haye got put down a couple of times in the cruisers. Hayes heavyweight run was disappointing, let's be honest. So he destroyed Barrett, beat Ruiz. Ruiz was aged and have Haye plenty of trouble from round 3 to the 8th. Ruiz was winning a lot of them rounds and Haye struggled big time. Haye was perfect to beat Valuev. He had the speed and that's what won him that fight. He hardly threw punches. The Harrison fight was an embarrassment, should never of happened. The wlad fight was an embarrassement from Hayes part. The whole chasing him down, to the t-shirt. I remember watching the open work-outs and Haye's whole plan was to land a punch, that's what he thought it would take. He didn't realise how much range wlad had on him. Totally outclassed and our smarted that night. Then he fought Chisora, Chisora is a European class fighter at best.

I think Haye is gonna win but by a late knockout! I think Bellew will give him trouble. It's gonna be interesting to see how Bellew fights to. If he is smart will cause Haye trouble but if he is the typical Bellew he will get sparked out. Everyone goes on about Bellew getting dropped but he's been put down by massive punches. Ovil McKenzie's punches that dropped him were brilliant punches. He done well to get up from them knock downs. Bellew's two losses have been to Stevenson who is a huge puncher and avoided and cleverley on a close points decision with short notice. The Stevenson fight was similar to the Haye/Thompson fight. Oh and he drew to chilemba who made Kovalov look average before the ward fight. Tony Bellew doesn't get the credit he deserves in my opinion. Hopefully he beats Haye, it will be great for British Boxing if he does.

Be amazed of bellew last 4 rounds before getting ko'd, he probably knows it too, but it's a payday and Fair play to him

Here is what Dave Coldwell (Bellew's trainer) says as quoted in the Sunday Times:

"If Tony makes a mistake and gets tagged in Round one, it's all over. For two rounds Haye will be lightening fast; then for the following two rounds he will be fast. After that, if Tony is still there, it will become very interesting. Remember that Haye has not been hit with 10oz gloves for a long time. We all know what Haye used to be, but we haven't a clue about the 2017 version."

About spot on IMO though i think Haye will win in 3 by TKO and then try to tempt Joshua in to a fight

Coldwell is a pretty grounded guy in fairness, one thing Haye used to have was wonderful head movement which allowed him to keep a low guard and open up opponents mistakes with his power and speed, he was also well know for his hatred of road work or cardio in general, being a wonderful natural athlete he could get away with that to some extent, but he was never a fighter with a huge tank, this still feels like a complete miss match to me. I'd agree pretty much entirely with your prediction, fair play to Tony, he earned this payday the hard way

I don't want it to happen but Haye will KO Bellew in 3, Bellew has always shown a weak chin and Haye hits hard. Think Caldwell is right tho, the longer it goes the more of a chance Bellew has, can't see it lasting long enough.
