Boxing

Going tomorrow

Never been to see live boxing before so should be a good night

I'm sure it will be a good night, but IMO, if you are going there to watch some quality boxing, get there early and watch the undercards. If you are going for a piss up and a bit of a shout, just get in for the Hatton fight.

Going to get there at 6pm to watch the lot

Will prob be that pissed when Hatton comes out I wont remember the fight

Watched a documentary on Hatton on primetime last night, have to say i'm a tad worried for him, I think it will end in disaster tomorrow night for him, wouldn't mind if he proved me wrong, he came across well in the doc.

Decent card there tomorrow night, Quigg and Munroe has the makings of a good scrap and was very evenly contested first time out up until the cut.

Hatton's come back is poor judgement imo.

He was never a great boxer, he was only ever a spirited street brawler with a great heart & a decent chin.

His lifestyle had caught up with him when he was retired by Manny.

3 years, bucket loads of coke, ale & fry ups later, he's never going to be even as good as he was at the end of his career, let alone capable of being what he was at his peak. I hope he gets beaten tomorrow tbh, so that this ill fated comeback ends quickly.

Very much this.

Really appreciate the info lads, Walken & Sheeds. Strangely enough my dad's side of the family are boxers. The most interesting thing I seen was Eubank vs Collins, with the mind games involved.

This was my cousin who I watched growing up.

Fought 41, won 38, lost 3. Two of the losses right at the end which he should have went into anyway.

Colin dunne ?

I remember a great fight against billy schwer must have been about 15 years ago. Every had raved about schwer . I might be totally wrong but I remember it being a cracker.

Was f'cking sh'tting myself for this.

Cheers for posting that Harry, blast from the post, great stuff, with your family I doubt you need my input on boxing!

I don't see them very often at all, I just wish I had the boxing genes haha! Quite old fashioned that fight, obviously I have my own bias's but I really enjoyed it, end to end. Need to get some favourites up on my browser for boxing websites and try and immerse myself in it.

It was a cracker mate, you should be well proud, thats the best way, sounds like you have a geniune interest so once you get cracking you'll just soak it up.

Heres Paulie Malignaggi's view on it, comes across quite well actually, and has fought both guys
