Cleverly lost lads?

Got whipped. Kovalev is nasty though and has almost Golovkin-like power.

Barker-Geale was an excellent fight. Won't say who won if you want to check it out online. One funny moment in the fight that deserves to be in the Hall of Fame of bad ref calls, Geale rocked Barker with a nasty uppercut to the balls and the ref lectured and threatened to take a point off of Barker.

He is his trainer mate did him no favours sending him out again, not impressed with letting that happen agaist such a heavy hitter could have got really hurt. The tactics were wrong as well , it will be a boxer working behind a jab to have ago at that russian

been the case for a long long time that mate, he has needed to leave his dad for a good while, and is wasting his talents with the style he insists on fighting with. Good to see ste smith get back on track though

Still don't know how Barker got up from that bodyshot, it was a cracking fight, could have went either way but Barker showed some guts to win it.

Have to say Halling and Watt were unbearable to listen to throughout the fight, when Geale landed the perfect bodyshot Halling kept screaming about how it was a low blow, when it was nowhere near, and theres no point even listening to Watts analysis after a couple of rounds as the man just can't remain, like he should, impartial to both fighters.

Didn't get to see Cleverly fight, the way there careers have gone since you would nearly think Bellew beat him that time.

that was a classic case in the right tactics for a heavy hitter, dont let him settle and only fight on your terms even if it means holding at times or leaning on move away and let him chase, ste smith fought a clever and skilled fight and what a finish, havnt seen a punch as good for years Boom fights over, was buzzing off the shouts from the crowd at the end, that voice shouting come on gary all through the fight , boom then, f off you fookin knobhead, even made it into some of the pre fight reports.cleverly as you say has the tools to be more than decent, but style and tactic wise needs to change, i know the russian looked good but can see him getting picked off by a decent boxer ,thats if he doesnt land that is, what next for cleverly , enzo perhaps?

That defo wasn't a low blow. I've never seen anyone get up from a crippling body shot and survive. I also thought the ref was going to stop the fight as well. Despite the knockdown Barker deserved that decision, I had him winning by 2 pts. Unless he gets a big payday I'd avoid Golovkin if I were him and try to get another match with Sergio or Chavez.

No, perfect shot, awful cmmentary, wasn't even close to being low.

Apparently mandatory against Sturm, if he could get through that it'd set up potential domestic bouts for the title.

He's lined up to fight the winner of Cloud V Stevenson, huge fight for Bellew that

I don't consider him good enough to mix with either of them two TBH. Obviously there's only one way to find out for sure but I can see him falling a bit short.

Sincerely hope I'm very wrong.
