great night of boxing... magdaleno beats donaire easy on points, he looked sharp and well drilled, oscar vasquez beat his japanese openent quite easily and could be a contender against frampton, alltho i think frampton wins that match up.

then we see the pacman looking sharp as ever , beating jesse vargas for the wbo welterweight belt. pacman says he's staying to fight in the division, money mayweather was ringside and they tried talking a fight up between them during the interview. he could also go down to 140 to fight crawford, but i cant see him wanting that. quite an achievement to win a belt again at 37 tho. i think brook v paquiau would be interesting.

That's why I love watching Mayweather, and why it annoys me when people call him boring. Why? Because he's so incredibly good that he basically never gets hit? Because everyone he fights had no chance before the bell even sounded?

He's one of the greatest of all time, and possibly the greatest in terms of raw ability. I remember all the hype around Pacquiao and Mayweather, when I was just sitting on looking bemused because I knew Pacquiao didn't have a chance and that he was made for Mayweather. And thus it proved.

The only thing that was beating Mayweather was time itself. The reality is people did not like Mayweather because of his attitude, and because he was almost too predictably brilliant.
 
Wards been carrying a shoulder injury for his last few fights so that could be his undoing . But I honestly think he will win. It's Defo a 50/50 but I just fancy Ward to show his class .
 
Ya hard to see anything other than a ward points win unless kovalev lands a lucky one.ward is so slick on his feet.top drawer footwork.in his last fight v brand he went southpaw in the later rounds so maybe he sees something in that that can work v kovalev.sound be a great fight.isn't often we get 2 fighters at their peak having the balls to face each other.regardless of the result massive respect to both fighters.;)
 
ward is sooo obviously gunna stay out of kovalevs reach and turn it into an utter bore fest. wont even be worth staying up for. ward to win easy on a shut out points victory.
