Disgraceful scorecards.
Burns fought whole fight on back foot and took some punishment. He's a hugely boring fighter.

Scored it 114-114 myself, couldnt argue if Burns nicked it but that score was a joke and its happening all the time in this country118-110 what a disgrace
Burns is gash

Not the first time the judges have been more than kind to Ricky, awful cards, the 10-2 card is a disgrace.
Big money bout with Broner in the works, not surprising really.
See this is just totally illogical, there is no difference in the result whatsoever whether you have someone winning by 1 or 24 points so why would you raise suspicion by putting in a wide margin on purpose?
Burns is gash
He really isn't. A three weight world champion who has ducked no one.
That was just a cracker of a fight between to very good pros.
To cover a spread.
£5,000 on Burns winning by over five points etc.
It's a corrupt decision, but it's boxing - I'd be more surprised if it wasn't. This is a sport where Terry McDermott hasn't been binned.
Awk yea he's a good fighter for what he is. He's just not my style of fighter. He's very back foot. He's not explosive. He's awkward. He's boring. Only one man came to fight there tonight.
And he might have nicked it there. I had it dead level so burns winning is fine. But 8 rounds is utterly diabolical scoring and whoever scored that card should be struck off.
I've never seen that type of bet available on boxing
Wouldn't know really, don't bet, but was just an educated guess.
It happens too often to be coincidental though. Unless boxing is deliberate hiring the worst judges imaginable, then corruption clearly exists.
Burns fights to his strengths. Watch him against Di Rocco for example - jabs and right crosses, over and over again, because it works.
Effective boxing is good boxing. That's why I personally think Mayweather is possibly the greatest of all time, full stop, because he mastered his specific style to absolute perfection. Yeah, boring to watch (not to me, as I love watching technical brilliance, but I can see why people get bored by that style), but the guy doesn't get hit and makes good fighters look silly.
Burns simply does what he does really well. Backs off, picks the counters, relies on side movement and bobbing his head out the way. Good on him.
