Fury? Very skilled boxer? Really?

No.

And he didn't 'school' a clearly past it Klitschko either - he basically did slightly more than the other guy in the worst heavyweight title fight in memory. Then effectively retired because he's a coward who realised he'd won the lottery once and buying another ticket wouldn't be wise.

Wilder, Joshua and even Haye would destroy Fury. Too quick for him, each have power and are simply in another league to Fury. Hell, even Valuev would have done him by simply having an effective jab.

This really....people forget that nobody threw a punch in that fight for the first 7 rounds! it was bloody awful.

Can't disagree with this really. An elite heavyweight fight, in the modern era especially, has been a fairly dull affair if it goes 12.

Fury boxed clever against a fella with two punches in his resume(jab, right cross) using his god-given enormous reach. He's neither the best nor worst champ ever but go through any of the heavies boxing today and find me five good wins in their CV??

Wlad Vs AJ will be interesting. Wlad has always been chinny and AJ can hit. Wlad's defence has looked good fighting smaller men but fighting a guy of the same size it may not stand up. One of the more interesting fights in the heavyweights for me...

I'm not surprised at all but the Bellew ticket sales for the 15th has been very poor. They've decided to bring the presser forward to Monday instead of Thursday to try and sell tickets so expect some pantomime. Why they had to pick such a [Poor language removed] opponent in a stacked division is beyond me, and apart from a half decent bout between Derry and Campbell the undercard is gash aswel.

Speaking of Bellew Roger, I'm a City fan and at the semi last season at the Etihad, there were quite a few Evertonians around us, think Toni Duggan the womens player had sorted hospitality seats, anyway Everton scored, up jumped the fans of course, followed by a City fan of about 75 years who proceeded to remonstrate with them for being on his manor. As the Evertonians made their way out at half time, the 75 year old was still ranting at them and threatened to "deck" Tony Bellew and mate! He obviously didn't have a clue who he was.....priceless.

joshua smashed thro vlads defense within 4 rounds. easy nights work.

would of been a much better contest say if vlad was 30 and not over it at 40. you gotta remeber vlads last perfomnace was a devastating to defeat to non other than tyson blooming fury. his head will be shot to bits

That Fury vs Klitschko fight was woeful, don't get me wrong, but he's obviously a very skilled boxer. No one of his size will ever move like Roman Gonzalez or look as crisp as Rigo but he beat arguably the most dominant heavyweight of this century. To say he isn't skilled is mad. And to say Wlad will be an easy night's work for Joshua is also mad.

thats how i see it. if vlad performs like he did agaisnst fury, ie, slow and laborious, then he has no chance. i think people forget how chinny both klitchko's are too. they are the amir khan of the heavy weights!

Aye if Joshua catches anyone they're going down and doing well to get back up, but I just can't see Klitschko doing that again. Surely not. I think Fury just had his head all over the place.

first time he's tasted defeat in 10 years and now going in against the biggest puncher in boxing at the moment, and josh has proved he can take a big shot too, the one of whyte would have floored most. vlad will try and keep him at bay, but josh will hunt him down. he's no 14 stone 6 footer, he's 6'7 19 stone!

Aye there's definitely a good chance for Joshua, but the cardio question is always there and it's a big step up from the no marks he's been fighting.

Is this happening then? AJ vs Wlad? Is it on??

Nothing official but it appears that way.
