Watched the ggg v brook fight last night.brook boxed very well.was disappointed with ggg to be honest.looked very ine dimensional and didn't look in peak condition either.hard to know wheter it should have been stopped but brook looked fairly tanked and might just have been stopped in that round so maybe the right call by his corner.eye looked like it was in bad shape as well.
Kinda reminds me of the crawford postol fight.if you dont let ggg get himself set you have a good chance against him.jab move jab move let ggg just about get himself set then a combo then move again.i know it is easy write about it but only way to beat him.need top drawer fitness as well.thought brook thought very well.way better than i or others thought he would.impressed with him on the night but thought ggg just didnt look in peak condition either.

HBO said last night that Canelo is the biggest money drawer since Floyd yet De La Hoya won't let him fight GGG because if he loses, that's it, the dough is finished.

It's why Eubank won't fight, his dar knows the gravy train comes to a halt with a loss.

Canelo and his camp will not fight Gennady. They vacated their mandatory so he can't say he 'fears no one' because clearly he does regardless of how they try to spin it. You cannot vacate a mandatory and still chat that you're not worried.

You're saying that about having a good chance against GGG if you pressure him and disrupt him, but in 350 amateur fights and 35 professional you would have thought this would have actually worked by now lol

I think he looked limited next to Brook because Brook is a clean, gifted fluent mover. But ultimately GGG did what he does best, better, if you see what I mean.

Didnt say pressure him the key word i used was MOVEMENT but like i also said it is easier to write about it than actually do it.he is very good at cutting off the ring.

I think it could have been interesting if Brooks eye hadn't been so badly damaged early on. Ultimately I think GGG would have still won with a knock out, he just hits too hard and has a decent chin to go with it.
