De Gale really disappointed me last night, I wonder if he lacks the power to really blow people out of there? He throws from mad angles and looked boss for 4 rounds but after that got lazy and took far too many for me. Jim Watt tugging the head off it over him was windi me up as well.

He's one cocky get as well, wasn't keen on him goading the Mexican after the final bell, especially after his lazy second half of the fight performance.
Just watching the Bute Jack fight now, Callum must fancy a go at Bute soon? Maybe on the de gale Jack undercard?

The mexican spat at him after the 11th i think, hence the bad blood after the final bell, loads of ability Degale, but he was definately in full not arsed mode last night

He was goading him well before then, which I don't mind but after the final bell I think both fighters should respect the effort of the other.
He's got all the talent in the world but I think that's at least his last 3 fights when he gets to 5 or 6 rounds and cannot be arsed after that.
He's in a division at the moment where he could quite comfortably unify imo, using his natural ability but he is too cocky, too lazy and basically to cockney to do it.
Wouldn't upset me to see him waste his ability, so long as we don't have to hear from him afterwards. Compare him to someone like Froch, a limited fighter but the heart of a lion and balls to match, it's night and day.

i honestly think hes an overated fighter, looks great in spells but he doesn't seem to be able to keep it up for the full 12 rounds and he doesn't punch anywhere near as hard as he thinks he does, i actually thought Dirrell outboxed him for most of their fight and if it wasnt for the knockdowns he would've got the nod. hes been on about going up in weight to fight Stevenson or Kovalev apparantly - good luck james...

Only when he allowed him to, which is his weakness, switching off, but degale was well on top of dirrell before that, if anything he is underrated in this country, a genuine world champ unlike a lot of our others and gets far less publicity, I doubt he has any serious intentions of moving up to light heavy

He is a genuine world champ, no doubt, but if he doesn't snap out of that arrogance Badou will not let him off like the others have.
Is there talk of it happening in London? He didn't get a great reception after last nights fight I dint think he's captured the yank audience like Khan for example.

he frustrates the hell out of me, don't get me wrong, I think he beats Jack though, who I don't really rate, smith and the young mexican lad developing at a rapid rate could be a different story

I worry about his power, and if he can't blast Jack out of there then I worry about his attitude and stamina. That's said it would actually be a PPV worth paying for if they had Callum/Bute and a couple of other strong fights on the undercard.

One thing i always look for after the fight is the respect.no matter what goes on before it the end of the day ye are 2 warriors who went toe to toe so hug and have a few respectful words to each other at the end no matter the result.
