I've just watched the whole game and have to ask again, where is the consistency in the refereeing? If you accept that the push by Baines was worthy of a penalty decision, why not Tosun being pulled to the ground in the Bournemouth area?

There were a lot of decent performances but I went for Theo for his goal, although Cenk Tosun's brilliant pass put him through.

Any news on Michael Keane?

We need to learn how to close out a game. Not sure Silva has this worked out, yet, (no evidence he did at Watford either).
Should be able to defend a two goal lead at this level. Hopefully, with some work on this and getting new personnel, it will be fixed.
Good goals though, especially Walcott's.

I think Silva and Baines should have radio comms so Silva could have contacted Baines and said don't do anything silly. Don't think this was a Silva problem but was defo a Baines brain fart.

..tempted with Keane. I’m his worst critic but he’s started well and scored vital goals. His injury was a shocker and I hope he’s well. There was a through ball, though, in the 2nd half which put Wilson in and Keane was completely put out of the game with no physical powers of recovery.

I went for Gueye for his usual solid performance.

There was quite a few long balls by Bournemouth in the 2nd half that took Keane and Baines out the game because of lack of pace. I like keane and wish him well but I also see the bigger picture and don't think his lack of pace is suited to us. Good back to the wall defender but any line over 30 yards and he struggles badly. There long balls caused us as much trouble as trying play through and around us IMO

Of all the decisions in the match, the two you mention were actually correct. You're comparing apples and oranges, just because two players end up on the ground in the penalty area doesn't mean they're both penalties.

So you're saying that Baines pushing a Bournemouth player in the penalty area is a foul, but Tosun being pulled to the ground by a Bournemouth player isn't a foul? I think you ought to apply for a Premier League referee's job - you'd fit right in lollollol. Apples and oranges? They were both fouls, one was punished the other was ignored, so inconsistent refereeing like I said.

Conceding soft goals from corners needs to be addressed....

Tap ins on the six yard box this must not continue.....
