Classic Everton, loads of possession, with nothing doing up top and massive gaps at the back. Something has to change.

It's easy to have possession if you just pass it over and back

.....very pretty for 15 minutes but the game is about creating and scoring. Crazy really. The most creative player we have is still sitting on the bench.

I was happy enough with the opening 15. Away game in tough windy conditions and we controlled possession. The half hour after has been poor and getting worse as it went on.

I would remove McCarthy (on a yellow). Bring cleverly inside to keep the ball moving quickly and put mirralas on the left. See how that goes for 25 minutes.
