Thought Moyes was able to conjure a commendable response to the Newcastle match , still disjointed in attack although some promising moments before the goal, we were able to disrupt and neutralize the majority of Bournemouth's offensive forays. Most games Bournemouth are a rapid and direct team , yesterday they were in disarray. I just hope that Moyes employs this starting lineup once again even if Keane regains his fitness.

Fabulous result, credit to the whole lot of them.

I’m a little concerned at how easily Garner was run round at right back and his defensive positioning was poor at times, but so much better going forward than what we have had.

He got better as NDiaye started to help him out, but better teams will exploit Garner’s defensive inabilities.

Should we go 3 at the back for Forest, knowing Dyche they won’t be that much attack minded.

Really enjoyed that display yesterday. It’s nice to see us look half decent on the ball after a decade of tripe. Grealish didn’t play well but is a player you can adore. KDH been brilliant consistently imo. We’ve obviously got some shortcomings and it will be up and down, but this is the first Everton team you can see some hope with in a long time. Well in Moyes.

Definitely much more pleasing on the eye going forward without Doucoure playing as a 10 (or anywhere!) and much better than McNeil and Harrison on the wings.

Man if only we hadn't messed up the Newcastle game so badly. I put a lot of that down on Gana for letting us down and leaving us so light.

Still, we needed to bounce back and we did it in style - getting three points most neutrals would have said was extremely unlikely.

6 points from United away, Newcastle home, and Bournemouth away would be gratefully accepted by most clubs in the division outside of perhaps Arsenal and City.

Now the Forest game is another huge one because we follow it up with two majorly difficult games in Chelsea and Arsenal, which, let's face it, we're likely to lose. Take 3 points each either side of those two games - from Forest home, Burnley away - and we're sat on 27 points from 17 games, which in our current state is an unbelievable haul, especially since it's highly likely our two strikers will have contributed a grand total of one goal in the process.

4 points from our next 3 games and I would be thrilled. Forest is a must win if we are serious about Europe next season..
