Bournemouth looked absolutely awful. Were we that good? I'm not sure, but we did enough to win at a ground we've struggled at like it was Anfield.

Our midfield was brilliant. Completely dominated the game. Our attackers not so much.

3 wins in 4 is good going in this league though. Somehow get over the line on Saturday and the table will look very good.

Bournemouth were as bad as we were on Saturday, just glad we took advantage. Really solid performance, a reaction from Saturday and there absolutely had to be one. Didn't fancy us at all tonight, delighted to be proved wrong.

It’s a strange league this year, not many teams can form any consistency.

KDH the best player on the pitch by a country mile but I’m going for Tim Iroegbunam as my MoM. Fortunate to start after the debacle on Saturday, an early booking and I feared the worst but his performance from then was measured and disciplined with some very timely interceptions, especially in those last 15mins.

A word for the fans. Such a long trip, especially a midweek night game. They are the best and if you’re one of them, I thank you very much.
