Never bottled it, battled well. Could say Koeman bottled it a tad taking off Mirallas when he was playing boss and was our out ball to put on a defender when there was loads of time left to play.

The walking ego cost us by shooting in to a defender instead of passing to someone clear through. Twice. Rest of the team were fine.

That ref would have give them something near the end anyway, he was dreadful the tackle on Holgate by Ashley Williams needs looking at again it may have been a red!

Anyone who thought we would get through that last minute of injury time unscathed hasn't watched Everton before.

The whole mentality has been that of bottlers for years.

I don't agree with that, Joey.

Gana should have got a second yellow near the end and I would say more refs would have overruled the linesman over the offside goal than chalked it off.

The ref was OK in my eyes.

Absolutely. Ross wasn't at his best but he was carrying the ball out well and taking away the danger. As soon as he went off, we only had poor long-balls up and gave up possession too easily with them.

Never bottled it tonight imo. Subs too defensive I think but basically we had chances for second and did not stick them away. Simple as that. Decent effort tonight just fell short. Desperately need Lukaku to be a better out ball in matches like that. Never going to happen though. Not his thing.

Had nothing left in the tank! He ran his socks off today.

The game was lost with lookman or Valencia not coming instead of DCL.
