Yes mate, roughly the same. Bought a cheap 50mm prime lens too. Want to be proficient with them before I start buying expensive lenses or I just look a tit.

Ha. I could be given the most expensive camera in the world and I'd still make a photo look crap. I must have taken about 150 this morning up in the Forest, about 4 of them came out nice. The one with the Stag was pretty cool, he ran away though just as I was trying to zoom in a bit more. Really enjoying it so far, but I don't really know what I'm doing yet. I'll get there

Then you're no different to I. The fact that you're traipsing round a forest with a camera and enjoying it is a good sign that this will be a hobby you're going to spend time with mate.

Yep, I've needed an excuse to get out the house a bit, off to Clent Hills tomorrow to do another bit of photo shooting. May actually do a bit of reading up now, so I know what the buttons actually do

Hell to the no but I did have a guiness last week and it wasn't as bad as it was a couple of years ago.
