I spent 5 minutes or so following a harvestman around the wall outside, as it moved across the bricks and a piece of wood attached to the bricks (we put fireworks on the wood, Catherine Wheels...)

Female Red Mason Bee, (Osmia rufa) I think.
It landed on a small piece of stone that was leaning against the bottom of the garden fence among the weeds, which I had to carefully move away to get the straggly leaves out of view. I thought I may spook the bee doing this, but it stayed put where it had landed and offered me a few minutes to get some shots.
