Paul, I see you have the 4/70-200L...that's a superb lens. High-quality optics all the way.

Dude, the L went to fund the distance. With good edited I should be able to sharpen up most of the shortfall that the Bigma might have.

Paul might have a different opinion, cheeks...but I can tell you from my experience that the entry-level zooms from Canon are pants.

I'd agree about cheap zooms, the optics fall down especially on chromatic abberations.

Paul.

nice one of Berliner Dom there, think I took near enough the exact same picture

Aye, upload your Dom one when you find it.

is that you sitting by the lake in the next one ???

No, haha...i took the pic, innit. he looks like Bill Bailey's younger taller brother.

I'm the pissed-up wool in my avatar singing karaoke.

Oh!

Well your skills are very good so I'm sure you'll do very well with the Bigma. If you're anything like me you'll chop-n-change lenses all the time anyway. I literally have over a hundred lenses, most of 'em manual. Use them with adaptors.

Let the thread know if you bag a flying bird b)

I agree daz.

Aye...an early goal should settle any hangover nerves, I reckon.

Good night, kidda.

Here's a few. First up, Stockholm:

A home-game tradition for the Milwaukee Brewers (MLB), the sausage race!

The 4th of July fireworks in Milwaukee are shot off from a barge in Lake Michigan. This year it was REALLY foggy on the lakefront. It made for some awesome scenes.

The first two were taken with my Panasonic DMC-G1, the last with my phone, a Lumia 920.
