Booing

Not at every mistake mate, or every backwards pass, sometimes in football you need to go back.. i think the groans/booing got into kennys mind as one point he deffo should of knocked it back to Pickford but he tried to flick it forwards, it bounced off wba player to Rondon who shot and nearly scored!

Its going abit far now, and if we genuinely are in a relegation battle come 5-10 games to go then we as fans need to help them out. Which I don't think the majority of fans would do they'd instead moan boo groan and make things worse.
Whilst I agree it can have an affect on players, Kenny was turd all on his own it was nothing to do with the fans.

The free kick he took at the end for example.

The fans tried to help today towards the end and Everton fell so flat it made my eyes bleed

I know he was but i think in that certain situation im talking about was due to him thinking I can't go backwards they'll flip..

It was tough (figuratively, not literally) to hear on the television today. You could tell Goodison was a special kind of toxic, but you can’t say it’s not deserved.

Supporters were sold on a new era and this season has been nothing but depression and regression.

As an Everton fan I'm sure he's well aware of it all.

Players shouldn't let it affect them.

Where is sams team of psychologists to sort it all out anyway

Forum members of a certain age will remember going 0-2 down to Sheffield Wed at Wembley and the same v Wimbledon at Goodison.Just thankful that our present 'support' wasn't at those games.
Spot on - or are you? The 'support' in the 1966 era was more inclined to attack the manager physically (allegedly) & to rain cushions onto the pitch and towards the Directors box. Best booing ever was the home defeat to Leeds Utd in 1964. Mind you, the players put in a battling display to say the least, the booing was for the ref, Stokes, and anything connected with Leeds! As for the Cup Final, we had a good team, playing ok and a blatant penalty denied. 'Support' solidly behind the team because we knew they were good enough to fight back and did, a bit like the Bayern match! The Wimbledon match could have turned very ugly, but we know what happened. A pertinent point is the current 'silence', more than the booing. Goodison can quickly transform to very hostile & noisy if the players put a proper shift in, and that is solely down to the tactical preparation and tempo the team adopts, which has been set at 'snooze' all season.

Goodison has been neither of those things in years in my opinion, I can not remember the last game I attended and left feeling like the ground was full of blues.

It’s pedestrian

Pay my money, it's my choice
Everton hold a monopoly on many people's support, so we often have to watch,
when they see that the frauds in charge/playing do not hold the same reverence to the club, they have to show their feelings.
Happy clapping, or 'getting behind the team' at all costs is accepting mediocrity.
Objecting is the more positive thing to do.

Booing the team at the end of the match if it’s clear they’ve not given 100% is perfectly acceptable, booing individual lads for making mistakes probably isn’t because, above anything else, it doesn’t help.

Totally agree with this. You pay your money you've every right to boo but save it to the end of the game. Booing or giving abuse to players during the game isn't helping us.

Booing individual players during the game isn't really on. Except maybe when they get hooked cause it's not going to affect the performance. Though I really really would like to boo Morgan Schneiderlin. Booing at half time, unless it's about 3 nil down is a bit premature and pointless. Booing at full time after watching a full 97 minute performance which is as poor as that is completely justified, understandable, and what the players deserve.
