Booing

The booing of Martina shanking the ball aimlessly down the flanks with his orthopedic left foot was pretty justified but not so much at the player more so to the board for letting this situation continue
actually starting to feel sorry for the lad

Fair comment.

He knows he was signed as stop-gap cover at right back and has been somewhat unfairly thrust into the opposite side where he's patently badly out of his comfort zone.

Give him a little bit of credit for giving it his best shot week in, week out while the club - the aging, injured, nothing like as effective without Pienaar, Baines apart - doesn't have another left back available.

He could have cried off with a fictitious injury and taken the money - he hasn't and he's getting pilloried by some fans for the failure of the summer transfer window to address the situation.

Everton Football Club started this season with one left back, one !!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I will always say.

We take the piss out of the kopites for their cringy fan base yet at least their team have a bit of passion and get behind their team. We boo our team every week, don't sing , don't produce an atmosphere and moan about everything. And the team doesnt perform, funny that
Chicken vs egg. What comes first, booing or absolute dire playing? Team needs to give the fans something to get excited about.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with booing when it's justified. Today was one of those days.

Also chanting all game whilst we're utterly turd won't make them play better either.

If the players give us something to chant for then the crowd chants.

Not at every mistake mate, or every backwards pass, sometimes in football you need to go back.. i think the groans/booing got into kennys mind as one point he deffo should of knocked it back to Pickford but he tried to flick it forwards, it bounced off wba player to Rondon who shot and nearly scored!

Its going abit far now, and if we genuinely are in a relegation battle come 5-10 games to go then we as fans need to help them out. Which I don't think the majority of fans would do they'd instead moan boo groan and make things worse.

Completely true. I agree that you can't expect a fan base to get behind the team if the team don't earn that. Probably said it before myself on here.

I just wonder sometimes that that lack of atmosphere sometimes does affect us, without the urgency from the fans it makes the team complacent and no-one really ups their game beyond managerial instruction .

Just thinking out loud there.
