Bonfire night

Will soon be bonfire night and i am going to have a display at my house. In the past i have boguth my fireworks from the local asda and local firework shop.However do any of you guys know any good online places to buy them or anywhere else for that matter

Douse some sawdust in petrol, pack it into one of them fountain sherbert tubes, the ones with the liquorice hanging out of them, jam a kebab stick in the middle of it and light it.

Best fireworks ever.

Do they not still put on a big display at Hilton park?

I used to go as a kid.

Got to grope Amanda Green there one Bonfire night. Then ate about 3 cups of black peas.

no mate hilton park is nothing more than overgrown grass now and derilict as leigh centurians have moved to leigh sports village and nothing has been done with hilton park yet. Used to go myself when i was a kid as only live across the road on kirkhall lane those were the days

1st ever recorded terrorist I think. Its also strange how we celebrate a night by burning an effigy of man who was executed. Bit morbid.

Unless we're celebrating what he atempted to do, I find it strange how its a national celebration.

yeah hilton park was sold and was to be made a housing estate by Millers however they are struggling with the planning permission so its just been left and left rotting plus local residants objected so think that has something to do with it

me too , imo its should be banned or at least be licensed only.

it makes me laugh how you need a license to be a doorman yet any shmuck is allowed as many explosives as he wants.

1 of my dogs really shits it.in fact im sure the fear will one day end up killing him .we try and drown out the sound and keep him cosy but he just shakes with fear really bad.

love the guy fawkes story (good on him) but hate pretty much everything about bonfire night (+ the weeks before and after)

99 % of people i woudnt trust with a box of matches let alone an explosive.

leigh east have also moved to the sports village as well, they were rent free for first 18 months or something, but now the rent that they are being asked for they can nowhere near afford, so are likely to become homeless.

got any links to this reidy. Also take it no body knows any good online retailers? as for fireworkd being banned i am not in favour of that but i am all in favour of licensing to stop the mindless people that abuse the fireworks
