I still doubt that Terry is going to Citeh although the money would be difficult to ignore. But... if he does, do you suppose that Chelsky would then be interested in our poor little Joleon? How ironic that could be.

You top 6 defenders in the premier league are - Terry, Ferdinand, Vidic, Lescott, Jagielka, Carreghar (spits) IMO (I'd say Calvaleho but he hardly played last season).

And as pointed out in the talk back before - Lescott scores goals, can play left back, hasnt been sent off, isnt an elbow smashing, face spitting, body checking dirty [Poor language removed] that Terry is. So no, he's not in the same league as Terry. He's in a differnet league to him - a proper hard working centre half.

I would add Brede Hangeland to that list, he was immense last season, and if it ever transpires that we lose Lescott to Citeh...then he is he the one in my opinion that we should replace him with

terry is an over rated egotistical clogger, self promoted in an era when the "shat-pack" made out they were the so called golden generation. most of them ended up as team-mates of him and now the new "i'm worth this much" generation are all heading to middle-eastlands.

I'll be honest. If we lose Lescott, I'll be gutted, he's been a great signing, but at the end of the day, if we can get £20 Million plus for him, I'm not worried. If Jags was fit, I'd be a lot more worried, as they would no doubt be after him instead/aswell!
