Saw enough today mate that we will finish 7th, the gulf between us and the top 6 is big, the gap between us and the rest is much closer but still there, mainly due to us having a title challenging calibre striker mind and a top class cm in gueye.
I agree. The pack below Everton seems to be very flaky. Im not sure we'll stay 7th though (look at Stoke and how they've pulled out of a nosedive - unbeaten in the last 6 while we've been unimpressive in the last 6. Hughes will have them always at it and tough to beat. Not sure we have that type of steeliness yet. Top half probably, but only just. And if Lukaku gets injured forget it...which is why we need an adequate deputy in during January.

We need that and a few others next summer. This summer we left ourselves exposed though and January should be about rectifying that. If we do then we can retain our present position. If not, we'll stand a good chance of another dispiriting bottom half finish...and that is something morale will take an almighty knock from.

would be totally Everton that.

new BILLIONAIRE owner, new very highly paid manager , new stadium talk, massive new hope and expectation...

premier league finish postion 17th - worse than the old regime.

now thats EVERTON THAT!

You see he isn't now is he? It's not a takeover. It's all over the place really.

No I wasn't going to question Moshiri's crudentials mate. I was going to make a couple of points - the team inherited by Koeman is substantially weaker than we previously thought both in playing terms but particularly mentally - I was going to go into detail on that point, and then secondly:

The board really has to step up in every sense providing all that is necessary for player recruitment in Jaunary and the summer, and see to matters off the pitch so we don't enter next season without much improved commercial terms and of course, much greater progress on the stadium front. If Moshiri feels the current board and management are unable to address those issues he should take action now to remove and replace the failing parts.
As I have posted on another thread, Article 17. Free us of Harris and Elstone at least..
