Dutch Toffee

Player Valuation: £70m
Kipper is going overboard on a threat that there's an urgent board meeting called in at Everton this evening. Also on NSNO, who claim there's interest of some rich Indian billionaire. I know, it's probably bullshit, but nobody on here heard anything?

Really? only just logged on.

*gets excited*

[Edit]If anything, it will probably be the appointment of Steve Round

The guy that NSNO are on about already has a 20% stake in QPR, I think it'd be odd for him to pull out of QPR and buy us.

Lakshmi Mittal.

Said to be worth $63 BILLION Mittal is rumoured to have made an offer to the board which was discussed at a board meeting. Or so they say.

Well it makes a change from Russian billionaires.........and if he's that rich im sure he wouldnt insist that the club be moved from its home.......

Grand Old Team.......why would KEIOC be gutted at such a takeover ?

And.....

Moyes........?

Because a new owner would proceed with Kirkby with absolutely no doubt, probably naming the stadium after himself

Mainly though, because some of the anti Kenwright brigade wont know what to do with themselves.

What if it were remotely true.

Would it matter if foreign investment could and would keep Everton in the city and not move away.

Get some splendid personalities in which we couldn't remotely afford at the moment.

Keep Chelski on their toes in the transfer market and give us the needed boost for a top four spot.

Or should this be blown off and do it our way. What say ye?

On one hand I love the way we are doings things, but on the other, if somebody elses money is going to give me the chance of dancing in the street whilst dressed in royal blue I'd say sod it lets do it.

Completely agree. (y) As am sure everyone agrees.

A happy medium would be nice. Keep the community team and people concept while building a stadium worthy of our heritage ad sprinkle three or four world class players in the side. To help Davey and his merry men to write some history for us.(y)
