I just can't see this Blue Wave stand being all that impressive compared to Dortmunds yellow wall. I'm prepared for Pond Ripple if I'm honest.

You can see a cross section of a rough idea of what it will be like on the photos of Meis in the stadium thread...

That model shows the differing angles to perhaps allow for safe standing in the lower section. However the angle is still too steep by current regs. To make it fit in the dividing wall needs to be over 4 metres tall. Which would kind of make it a 2 tier stand. This is really going to be the most interesting part of the reveal.

Dortmunds Yellow Wall is a solid single angle with standing. Each side continue into the two other stands with a 25k capacity. Our 'wave' is, without seeing it a mere picket fence in comparison.

Dan Meis trying to make a big deal out of it is my issue when there is already far bigger & better out there. Also, the fans make the Yellow Wall what it is. Our Blue Wave isn't going to suddenly create a bear pit atmosphere with drums & flags etc. It will just amplify our boos.

Literally the only thing I want from a new stadium. Everytime a youngster has the temerity to make a tenth appearance for Everton they should be greeted with the customary Boonami

I've only gone and given the home end it's name & Dan the Man Loves It.
So its not going to be sponsored by the sewage farm then...pity, cause the name will stick, well like stuff to a blanket.

*Big sign as you go in...'Welcome to the Waste Management (or whoever) Sewage Farm End.

*post match player interview...
'Well Jordan, that was a magnificent result and what a save, how did you keep it out?
'Wye aye bonny lad, tbh I think the smell kept oot man.'

We'll be begging for the Tescodome after the big reveal tomorrow lol

Hopefully we can boo them all the way into the Mersey.
