Main issue is funding. Current board couldnt fund a bike shed never mind a stadium.

Nail on the head. Club have always said redevelopment wasn't possible. They're both telling the truth & lying. They're lying because it is actually possible if there's co-ordination with the council in terms of housing and building. They're telling the truth in that they have no money to make it possible.

At that point the question needs to be asked why there's no money, and what is being done to get more money? Because nothing is impossible if there's actually a will to change things, including a clubs finances. It involves being realistic, and giving up some power and ego.

All architect plans start with a sketch. Then gets filled out. Anyone who has a basic house extension will have seen a similar type draft.

Then they see if what they think can be done, can be done.
