Think about what you post in response to what was initially a lad who lives out of town trying to find out more about what the BU do.

We still doing this 'ijjy doesn't know what the BU is about' stuff?

Ijjy might live in Southampton but he's one of the most clued up Blues on here. He's posted on here approximately 3 years longer than me.

Using my admittedly unnecessarily bombastic (meant as passionate) replies to him as a sign of BU arrogance is a bit laughable.

Judge the BU on the positive suggestions they've made today (as opposed to the lack of Robert Elstone positive suggestions as CEO since 2008).

What the BU needs to do is to show a way of raising the 100mil.

Perhaps a raffle?

How about a rights share? That's what Celtic did in the early 1990s to redevelop their stadium.

This would involve Kenwright and Earl giving up some of their shareholding, and a very rich person (Lord Granchester, our billionaire supporter, perhaps?) under-writing the plan in case all the new shares didn't get sold.

This plan involves majority owners losing some power so may not be viable....

Definitely a good start. Who's the rich person interested? Not asking for names, more who would find this person, the BU?

Also, it's hard to let go of power once you have it. If you were a blue in control of Everton and thought you were doing a good job (in your own head) why would you sell your beloved club to someone else? I don't think, well we all pretty much know, that he isn't going to sell.

Suggested it there. Lord Granchester. Grandson of Sir John Moores. Attends every game at Goodison. Was on the board at Everton until December 2000. Rumoured to have left the board after a falling out with Kenwight.

Has a reported personal fortune of £1.5 billion.
