Crazy statement, I assume it's tongue in cheek.

Cahill is a poor AM (at present) and Coleman is a poor winger (at present). You need better players than we have to win titles, even if our first 11 was fit all season.

We can compete with any team in a one off game but our weaknesses would be shown up over a season.

We defo can compete with any team in the league on a good day but on a bad day we can lose to any team in the league. such is the Everton way. i was mulling through the stats book a few weeks ago and looking back over seasons in the thirties and the fifties - we had a team that was both invincible and unconvincing. the number of times we would win 5 in a row and then lose 5 in a row was quite startling. Maybe I was looking for the inconsistencies (some stat head can prove me wrong I am sure), or maybe it truly is the Everton way. Certainly as a fan for 30 years it feels right. Consistently inconsistent does not win titles.

True.

We often lose to the smaller clubs, partly because we play so negatively sometimes, no matter who we're playing. That's one thing that does annoy me about Moyes, I wish he'd learn to take the game to the opposition more in games that we do have a realistic chance of winning.

If he can sign the right players, this window, it's going to be an interesting season.

everton players celebrate a goal in may ,the whole foken ground goes ape sh,, when they win a fken throw in , ,horrible horrible team ,horrible manager ,horrible fans , stoke is one big sh,t hole ,nuke the fooken gaff

This made me laugh, I remember Stoke away about 2 years ago on the coach home, 4 grannies throwing bricks and giving the V's at the coaches.. classy

We can struggle against the 'lesser' teams as they tend to get 10 men behind the ball and play a counter attacking game. Without the likes of Pienaar in our team we find it hard to break down this kind of defense. We play well against teams who look to attack us as it leave much more space for us to play in. Hopefully Naismith and Pienaar (if he comes) can help with this problem.

I was serious by the way. We have a first eleven that could be challenging. Sure there's a couple of weaknesses, even Man Utd have weak spots, I think we have a couple of players better than their players in Fellaini and Baines. We just don't have the depth or a manager with bravado.

if my glasses are to be tinted then i pick blue

tbf i think we have a good grasp as fans as to Evertons likelihood of successes and financial abilities

everton have the potential to challenge for 4th spot in the league every year howwever we have always had 'something missing'

i think transfers made and potentials to be made pienaar pranjic
and rodellega we should reach that potential this season!
