He has never taken any money from Everton as you well know, it would show up as Directors Emoluments in the yearly accounts, which have to be signed off by the auditors. But I'm sure you already knew that.

It is still clouded in mystery how he bought his shares that's apart from the £24M plus he got for them and a similar
amount to come for the rest of them, but I'm sure you knew that, if you believe in Kenwright keep hang your
Christmas stocking up on the 24th. of December.
In the kop 100's of times ??? Seriously?? You're a Red Then ??[/

Runcornblue52,100's of times, and more if I couldn't get away to see Everton, my first senior game as a spectator was at
Anfield, Liverpool won 4-0 versus Blackpool, my next senior game the following Saturday was as a SUPPORTOR at
Goodison Park, we lost 2-0 to Arsenal. I support Everton because I like and saw Class in Everton.

Hope that answers your question Runcornblue, by the way are you related to that well known Red from Runcorn, Johnny
Bishop? That question is as ridiculous as the one you asked me. !!!!!!!!

It's strange how young people today can't understand that loyalty to your team doesn't exclude watching other teams. In the sixties me and my then brother in law, who was a red, went to Goodison one week and Anfield the next as did many other people. Didn't make me less of a blue.

With the unveiling of Wayne Rooney imminent, do you think this could also mark Bill Kenwrights final public performance as Everton chairman?

If only, sadly like a bad smell he's going to linger for some time yet id imagine

I suspect that tinkering away in the background, Bill is playing his usual blinder in the game of outgoing transfers...long may that continue. Also, due to the hard work finding Mosh, he has now got what he always wanted, sufficient money to compete close to the top of the market, instead of in the budget department. If he wasn't limited by budget in his core theatrical/film business,he would not have needed a Mosh, he would be close to a billionaire himself.

I think Bill is probably (finally) being used in the right way. Not the central figure, not really the planning man or directly involved in the execution of transfers, but someone in the background as a bit of glue to bind the different factions together. Also as a bit of an embodiment to the past history and core values of Everton.

Inevitably there will be a time (coming quite soon) that there will no longer be a place for Bill. My gut feeling is, the deals we've seen for FF, Chinese Bank loans & the consortium buying the Liver building indicate we are mixing in very serious circles and it's only a matter of time until further investment comes and further changes arrive with it. In many ways it would be lovely to think Bill will survive, and aspects of old Everton survive but I can't imagine it. On the positive though, I can see us being a superpower by the time the process is done, equivalent spending reach of a Manchester City with a far better story and higher potential to tell.

Kenwright was on the board during the Johnson era, we had less debt and more assets under Johnson than we did Kenwright, Johnson built a new stand while all Kenwright managed was a lick of paint and some aquarium gravel round the side of the pitch.
This takes the biscuit if your saying Johnson was better than Kenwright! FFS he was a kopite!!

Not long ago it was suggested that Bill should be turned into glue.
