We are a lot more solid in every aspect of our play, next season I think we will be pretty good, I like our team now, he's got some good players playing well, but we need a striker. We make chances, but our lack of striker means we fail to convert them which means we lose games.

This squad, playing this football with a little confidence and quality up front would be formidable.

The striker isn't missing the chances though. (Ok Richarlison missed one this past week) You would just have a boss striker standing there watching our other players making the wrong decision over and over again in the final third.

Our problems are generally mental. Silva is supposed to be good at stuff like that so let's hope he is...

I know more than anyone about everything mate.

We are missing chances everywhere with a wide variety of players, seriously, how is that even debatable?

The majority though are falling to what should be our central striker position, however our makeshift striker/winger is a bit iffy when his confidence is down. Put Lukaku in that game instead of Richy and we would of given a much better account of ourselves scorewise. It won't make Walcott score, but we are making chances all over like you say, we need to start putting them away and the best person to start doing that is someone who does it as his natural role.

Twas the week before chrimbo. The fans were in bits.
The defence had a shocker, the spineless 3 t**s.
Pickford was woeful, not a save to be had.
And some of you clowns thought that Robles was bad.
Coleman's still mustard, just way out of date.
Mina gives it away like yer ma (on a plate).
Walcott's a chicken, devoid of it's head.
Lookman's done nothing, but we'll play him instead.
Bernard's like a worse version of Osman for us.
Wish my bird went down like Richarlison does.
Niasse is in heaven, Tosun is sh***e.
Like an overpaid, slow inverse Turkish delight.
But Digne is the business, like a modern day Baines
And for now we've got Gomes, who eases our pains
And who knows with Siggy, he sometimes comes good
Against Tottenham next Sunday you'd hope that he would.
So we thought we were ace, but it turns out not quite.
Merry Chrimbo to all, but not the red sh**e.
