Have you mods disabled the birthday notice at the bottom of the homepage? It's my birthday today and I haven't slept all night, because I was to excited to read all the birthday wishes in that thread decicated to me. Only to find out this morning that thread didn't exist (although all my settings are right). Anyway, thanks for ruining my birthday.
