Funny those saying he couldn't handle it in a central position. Because football is all about size isn't it? Modric is massive like.

playing in central midfield is about spacial awareness and being able to play when you have less time on the ball....Bily needs about half an hour to realise where he is, nevermind to create something when hes being closed down at speed

The top and bottom of it is, he's not quick enough (of body and mind) to 'deal with' the rigours of the Premier League. Like many have said, he's got some ability but we haven't seen it on a consistent basis. Time to cut our losses and let him find a club that suits him. If we get decent money for him (say £5-£6million) then he goes with good grace as far as I'm concerned.

You definitely get more time in the centre than on the wing.

His height has nothing to do with it.

Its all about heart.

Osman has loads of heart. But wait, he gets given a run of games. Bily has never really had a chance, and when he's struggled on the wings Moyes hasn't thought...oh lets try him in the centre, even in pre-season apart from 20 minutes against Bury where he was fairly impressive.

I have seen Osman have some storming games though (the 3-1 against United probably being the highlight), wheras Bily is more about the odd moment of genius combined with a lot more moments of rubbish.

That's my point though, Osman gets a run of games, Bily doesn't. Automatically at a disadvantage.
