It's becoming clear he's not a winger. If we are to persist in keeping him there, we must have a right back as good as Zhirkov to back him up.
That's how the Russian play and that is how Hiddink see it.

i can live with hibbert as a defender only but once he crossess the half way line he becomes a total waste of space and i cant really recall a good cross hes deliverd sindce the 40 yard lump for ferguson against leeds i think a life time ago

I actually think he's a very good... no, decent defender. Usually strong in the tackle and we've seen him easily deal with the likes of Petrov and Downing in the past couple of years.

When he crosses that white line into enemy territory, he's 99% woeful.

Good to have in the squad but you feel Coleman would improve the team better right now.

Coleman's reward for the Spurs games has been to be overlooked for the following league games.

having watched him against burnley billy on the right first half played quite well then he was switched to the left and went missing then came back onto the right and burst basck into life again ,he has talent
for sure i just wish he would take people on a little more and be involved for 90 mins, he maybe needs to be played through the middle oi think the thing is that when we signed him the papers said "eveton sign 9 m winger "i aint so sure hes an out and out winger when you look at him playing for russia he seems to be as his most dangerous bursting through the middle .
i dont know what the hells going on with the quality of crosses and set pieces at the moment but baines hibbert and co cant get it right ,also so many misplaced passes for the last few weeks but so evidnt agaisnt burnley maybe a confidence thing
