Bilyaletdinov - early days, but thoughts so far?

The lad has a knack of getting a goal doesnt he, surely hes our second top scorer this season.

Thanks Neiler, I was waiting for people to stop moaning about his haircut and deal with the practicalities.

There are a lot of good points above, but the important thing is, he is chipping in with the goals, and has a good attitude. No moaning, no arguing, just footy, (something seldom seen these days in the high flying highly paid premier league).

One of the reasons we have had such successful seasons in the previous few years is due to the variety of scorers. Pretty much everyone has scored for us except Howard and.....Hibbo (legend).

Keep going Bily. Your a top man and thoroughly appreciated.(y)(y)

Iv watched every game this guy has played .... and in a nutshell ..... Load of [Poor language removed]!

£10 mil for someone who cant run ..... cant control the ball .... wanders around the pitch like an headless chicken.

Biggest waste of money moyes has spent since he took over Everton.

I say get rid! Send him back to russia. I get more and more frustrated with his performances EVERY week!

Dont see no sign of improvment or anything.

Rubbish!

Take it you dont earn your living as a football pundit?

Someone mentioned the other day that he has played a full season in russia and is now playing hard Premiership games on teh back of that season.

I think hes a adjusting but as commented i have seen enough to convince me that he will be a top top player.

I like him on the wing hes quite jinky and has a sweet left foot. I also think he could do a job off of the front man.

Look the lad has some great touches on him. But he's struggling to adapt to the Premier league. But so did Arteta & Pienaar. Infact Pienaar looked so [Poor language removed] i used to laugh everytime he got the ball an then lost it. He was brought on once an took off again later on.

This is the hardest league to play in on the planet. Give the guy some time. Plus he's now been playing for somthing like 14 months.......

Iv said it before. Iv seen enough of him to think he'll end up a good player.

no, but I should do! I seriously dont know what people see in him. If we'd of paid 4-5 Mil for him then fair enough, give him time. But 10 mil! ... and after months of watching him, and can see he's going to be a flop! Best thing moyes did taking him off yesterday and putting Vaughn on .... and look what happened. A goal within minutes!

His close control? You not see this?
His cracking left foot? You not see this?
His composed finishing? You not see this?

He has shown all these attributes on plenty of occasions to suggest he has the quality to hack it here. Undoubtedly he has shown the opposite too, but that is to be expected when you've just played a season of football followed by another one, as well as having to adapt to different styles of play and increased pace of the game. As sharpy has said, he's shown enough to suggest he will be a quality player in time
